Elizabeth Shassere built, led, and managed teams of all sizes throughout her twenty-year career in health services and local government. Elizabeth successfully took these teams through programmes of transformation and improvement during times of significant policy and political change. She has studied and worked in the United States and the United Kingdom, and has experience from the local to the national level in both countries.
Elizabeth left her public sector career to start her own company. Textocracy provides an accessible feedback and public consultation data collection service that provides data for improving products and services that better meet users’ needs. She provides expertise on digital transformation, and advocates for digital transformation for inclusion.
Elizabeth shares her lessons learned in leadership and management through coaching and mentoring, and on her weekly Medium blog. She also gives back to the community that helped her become a tech startup founder and entrepreneur with no previous experience by volunteering at Startup Weekends and speaking at various forums.
